I would rate my performance at 5-6. I became more confident to confront opponents and get the ball from them to clear the ball for counter-attacks, though I know i could have done better by being less afraid of contact.

Did I apply what I have learnt in training? If yes, how?
I did not really use much from what I learnt as the past drills were about shooting and as a defender, i did not have the chance to shoot at goal.

    2. What did you learn as a player/spectator from the match today?

As a player, I learnt that we must make a balance between confidence and complacence - we must have the fighting spirit but not be over content when we are leading by one goal. I also learnt that communication is an essential part of the game.

    3. Do you think the team did well today?

Compared to other games, this match was reasonable, but we could all do better.

    4. How can you help the team to improve?

Personally, I should be more confident to take my time to clear the ball. There was an instance when I received the ball from Louis. As there were two opponents incoming, I panicked and cleared to the centre. If the striker had not messed up, he would have scored.

    5. What do you think the team can do together to improve?

The team could help one another by communicating. The second goal was caused by lack of communication. If the defence had shouted that there were running men around, the goal could have been prevented.

    6. Who do you think is the man of the match today and justify your selection

The man of the match would be Luke. He did extremely well with his amazing pace, a streak of good dribbles and even scored a goal. Of course, there were other outstanding ones, such as Sean. Despite his size, he held the defence together and tried get possession of the ball. Clemens was more confident and tried to get to the ball first.

I would rate myself a 7-8/10. I did somewhat well dribbling pass defenders using skill and pace. I think i could have done better though with my dribbling. I should have kept the ball closer to myself on one of my runs and maybe i could have broken through the defence. My passing accuracy was not 100%, but it was quite good. I had slowly gained confidence as the match progressed. I did well when defending at times by not committing too early. I tried to to get as little touches as possible and shoot early like what we learned from training but it was hard when i had 5 defenders coming at me, but luckily i released the ball at the right time and scored.
    2. What did you learn as a player/spectator from the match today?
I learned that the whole team has to work harder because there was a lot of bad passes, touches, and decisions made that caused the lost of possession or even a goal scored against us.
    3. Do you think the team did well today?
Not really, i think there is a lot of room for improvement for everyone. BMSS had possession of the ball most of the time, had more shots and passes. This is because of several reasons like players not being focused at times, not communicating, and just not playing properly or well.
    4. How can you help the team to improve?
Communicating towards the whole team more, which might help them make better decisions in-match.
    5. What do you think the team can do together to improve?
I think everyone of us should work harder, put in more effort during training, and make sure we all improve individually, before we can work well together as a team.
    6. Who do you think is the man of the match today and justify your selection
I would vote Bryan or bg as the man of the match. He wasn't so lucky when trying to dribble, but he knew what to do in different situations. He had good vision and decision making and assisted my goal. He was a good playmaker, passing and getting the attack together. He was confident and was a key player overall.

  3. 1. Rate your performance today from 1 to 10 and justify your rating
Personally, I rate my performance as a 4, or around there, because I made several mistakes and was unconfident of my actions. I was also not aggressive enough as the coach had advised us on, and because I did not really know what a defending-midfielder was supposed to do, I was unsure of what to do as I am not used to being a defensive-midfielder.
Did I apply what I have learned in training? If yes, how?
I think that maybe I did applied the basic techniques that we had learnt in training, but other than that, not as much.
    2. What did you learn as a player/spectator from the match today?
I learnt that we mainly needed to spread out and use the space well, and that communication is very crucial in football. I learnt that we also have to be focused from the start of the match as the first goal scored by BMSS was probably less then two minutes into the games, which meant that we took longer to get prepared, focused and ready and that is what we have to pick up on.
    3. Do you think the team did well today?
I think the team did quite well, as we had improved from our previous match, but we still have a lot to learn.
    4. How can you help the team to improve?
I can help by being more confident in myself so I do not make careless mistakes. I could also help by encouraging my teammates like Sec 1 Gerald(I am not sure how to spell his name), the keeper
    5. What do you think the team can do together to improve?
I think that we need to manly focus and be more enthusiastic towards football, and not just being there for the sake of being there. We also need to train harder to mprove on our control and skills. We can also learn how to communicate better.
    6. Who do you think is the man of the match today and justify your selection.
I think that the man of the match should be BG. BG was confident in the match and was not afraid to take shots or try to take on defenders. He was a playmaker and made the attack quite formidable.

  4. I will rate myself a 5. I had managed to dribble past a few defenders but made a lot of bad passes. I was a bit slow in my decision-making and miscontrolled a few passes and wasted possession. I think I applied the concept of passing and running into space. I learnt that we must have a 0-0 mentality even if we are winning and not get complacent. We have to keep possession and keep pushing forward to create scoring chances. I think the team did quite well even though the opposition had already played a game and were very tired. I think I can improve my decision making skills and make the right choices quickly.I think the team can encourage each other if they make mistakes instead of criticizing them. We can also spend less time on the ball and pass quickly. I think it is not very fair to give a particular person the man of the match as the whole team did quite well but I would like to praise Pides for his determination. Although he squandered many chances he did not give up and ended up getting a goal. Tobias had a good first half, running across the field to defend and support the attack connecting the play. He also ended up scoring a goal from around 30 yards.
