1. I would rate myself a 4 out of 10 because I did not have the speed to catch up with the wingers and attacking midfielders when they were dribbling. Also, I was beaten many times but could not recover fast enough.
ReplyDelete2. I learnt that speed was a very crucial factor in a game of football. Without speed, the opponent can just dribble past you easily and you would not be able to catch up with him. Also, you would not be able to intercept the balls or tackle to get the ball back. If you lose the ball and and lack speed, you not be able to recover fast enough, which might lead to a goal if there is no one covering you.
3. I think the team did quite bad because we did not try hard enough when intercepting or tackling the opponent to try to get the ball back. There was no hunger when competing for a 50/50 ball and some of us lack the speed to catch up with our opponent. We also allowed them to get more time on the ball and move forward because no one went to contain them or try to win back the ball. We also allowed them to too many shots because we did not have enough time to close them down due to their impressive speed.
4. I will try to be more aggressive and have the hunger to win the ball back when the opponent have possession. I can also improve on my speed because I am always to slow to close them down and cannot recover fast enough when the other team starts to attack.
5. We must improve on our fitness so that we will not run out of stamina so easily and will have the speed to compete for the ball. We must also have better communication with each other so that no one is left unmarked or is open to shoot, dribble etc.
6. I will say that Kang Xiong was the most outstanding in his performance because he made a lot of crucial saves and he was able to communicate with the defenders and alert them when anyone is open. If not for him, we could have easily lost more then 17 which we all certainly do not want to happen. He also made many dives and his goalkeeping skills are very impressive.
