  1. 1. I would rate myself a 4

    2. (Not trying to use OBS as an excuse) OBS has tired me out and I was unable to focus at all during the first half. I had no energy to run and was only able to do my usual communicating. I've also lost my cool many a times in the game which is not a good thing to be seeing in a team.

    3. I think that my only contribution to the team was my communication and the rare occasions I supported the attacks in the second half.

    4. No, honestly I feel that we've forgotten everything we've done during our training, especially evident in this game due to the scoreline.

    5. We have to improve a lot on our stamina and can't let just 1day+ of camp kill us all.

    6. No matter how badly we lost, we must learn to keep our heads up and move forward. We cannot change what has happened, but we can determine how we move on.

    7. We never gave up and still fought on despite consistently conceding goal after goal. The never say die spirit was strongly displayed during that game.

    8. Maybe from now on, I will push training 30mins earlier and use that 30mins to work on our stamina, using running exercises etc to help.

    9. We have to constantly encourage each other, and not always rely on me to be motivating all of you.

    10. Though the performance from all weren't up to standard, everyone seemed to have given whatever they had left, but my MOTM would be Mitchel.

    11. Even with an injured foot, he gave his all and made some crucial tackles as CDM. He was one who was constantly working hard when everyone was demoralized.

    Darius Low,
    Captain

    2. Explain your rating
We all played badly, including me, i was tricked to easily and wasn't able to be on my toes.

    3. What did you think you do well today?
Well, i feel that in this mach, like in every other match, I gave my best.

    4. Do you think you have applied what you have learned in training?
Well, yes, throw-ins were generally good except for one, the defenders managed to cover each other effectively at times,

    5. What do you think should be improved?
Like in all matches, our fitness is terrible, we failed to clear balls. the reason why Juying continued to take shots after shots is because they know we can't clear, and we conceeded half of the goals through rebounds, therefore, we really need to improve our clearing, best if we can do it in one touch, which should be the case.

Adding on, the team really need to has more discipline, everytime after a match, we are leaving stuff behind, before a match, in a public area, we are always making so much noise, we are reporesenting the school, yet we don't look like we are at all.

    6. What lesson did you learn today?
We should not be close to the attacker at times, we should pressure him and only commit ourselves when we feel that we have a high chance of winning the ball.

    7. Do you think the team did well today?
No, Not at all, personally, i felt that it is our worst match. We cannot use OBS as an excuse, and we have to admit that we are a standard lower and we really have to improve ourselves.

    8. How can you help the team to improve?
Motivating each other. When the going gets tough, it's when we all need to take the initiative and encourage each other, and motivate each other.

    9. What do you think the team can do as a team to improve?
Like what i have suggest before, it'll be good if the team can come together, once a week or once every two weeks to go for a run. Without fitness, we will never be able to play.

    10. Who do you think is the man of the match today?
I don't feel that anyone is worth enough to take this position

    11. Explain your answer in 10
Everyone was tired, everyone wasn't playing their best, but one thing for sure, you could that most of us, did our best of our ability on that day.

  4. 1. 6.
    2. I did what I could. However, as some may point out, I have made prominent mistakes, including, but not limited to, being too close to the opponent, thus being unable to win the ball when he turns.
    3. I think that the best of that day was the effort.
    4. Yes (spacing out). However, after a many reminders.
    5. Running unnecessarily. This should be eliminated to reduce fatigue.
    6. Maintain at least 1 arms length from opponent to allow leeway to gather balance.
    7. The team did what they could.
    8. However, I can still help to motivate people.
    9. The team can communicate more.
    10. MOTM will be Mitchel.
    11. He tried his best despite being injured in the leg, and facing a cut in the morning.

  5. 1) I would rate myself 3.3

    2) I was terrible in goal. I didn't cover danger areas and made a few judgement errors.

    3) Aside from the goal-line save, some point blank saves and taking goal kicks for ∞ number of times, nothing much.

    4) I didn't cover the angle during one-on-one situations properly on many occasions. I managed to send 90% of goal kicks to the half-line though.

    5) Fitness and communication. Too many through balls were made and too many crosses were allowed. Wing backs are supposed to mark runs and yet they are going for the ball. Centre backs are supposed to cover and yet they are marking players. Midfielders are supposed to help out in the defence to block shots and mark players and yet they are walking at the starting circle.

    6) Strikers are scared of the keeper. So keepers should pressure during one-on-one and not to appear afraid of them.

    7) 0-20 is not a joke. That averages to a goal every 4 minutes.

    8) Motivation and encouragement is needed as a vice-cap and not feeling all beat up whenever we concede a goal.

    9) We need to work on our fitness. Also, many of us are not applying what we learn during training; control, approaching the ball and support play. We should not be scared of the ball too.

    10) Lhu Wen Kai.

    11) He was constantly approaching the ball, asking during goal kicks and coming back for the ball while encouraging me to stand up whenever I picked the ball out of the net.

    2. Explain your rating
I did not mark properly, and allowed many strikers to pass through unmarked. Adding to the toil of the defence
    3. What did you think you do well today?
I tried my best to motivate the team through calling out to them.
    4. Do you think you have applied what you have learned in training?
I did not really apply what I learnt in training as I was losing focus, therefore, I would need to improve on my physical level.
    5. What do you think should be improved?
I REALLY REALLY need to imporve on my positioning as a CDM, and pressure the players more often.
    6. What lesson did you learn today?
Faith is key. As long as there is faith in yourself, you can succeed in doing your best.
    7. Do you think the team did well today?
    We tried, we tried...
    8. How can you help the team to improve?
There could be more communication, and I would have to motivate more.
    9. What do you think the team can do as a team to improve?
The team could learn to help each other more often, and increase our friendship, thus allowing us to motivate each other more effectively.
    10. Who do you think is the man of the match today?
    Mitchel
    11. Explain your answer in 10
He did his very best from the start, and didn't stop even though he was injured.

  7. 1. Rate your performance today from 1 to 10
    I rate myself as 1.5
    2. Explain your rating
Didnt managed to stop the defenders despite being last man, gave the opponent team 2 penalty, made loads of rubbish judgement
    3. What did you think you do well today?
    I gave my all
    4. Do you think you have applied what you have learned in training?
    i would say not
    5. What do you think should be improved?
Definitely on the mentality, the ability to judge the attackers and wingers and the agility
    6. What lesson did you learn today?
I learnt that we cannot commit too much into the attackers or they can easily out pace us
    7. Do you think the team did well today? 8. How can you help the team to improve?
not really, i can help by having them work together and be able to stop the attackers from scoring
    8. How can you help the team to improve?
I can help by communicating and putting more focus into the game
    9. What do you think the team can do as a team to improve?
The team can definitely help each other and using the power of teamwork to help fend off the attackers
    10. Who do you think is the man of the match today?
    It should be Mitchel
    11. Explain your answer in 10
He gave his all despite his injury and all the other odds.

  8. 1. Rate your performance today from 1 to 10
I will give myself a very high 9.

    2. Explain your rating
I somehow manage to run constantly for 80 minutes without feeling tired which I did not expect myself. I also tried to be aggressive and run towards the defenders and tried to dribble past them. The bad things I did was to give away a penalty with a handball and to mis-kick 2 which could have gone in.

    3. What did you think you do well today?
I passed and I move into space and I called for the ball although most of the times people didn't pass. I also tried to instruct the defenders to face the ball when they're defending and gave encouragement to the team. I think I was the only one who gave encouragement in the team to the team so yea.

    4. Do you think you have applied what you have learned in training?
I applied what I have learned in training because I was running around moving into space and such.

    5. What do you think should be improved?
I think the defenders should really focus more and face the attackers when they are defending and trust my instructions because all the time they were facing the attackers with their backs, letting them turn and outrun you and being scared of the ball.

    6. What lesson did you learn today?
I learn that stamina is important because I managed to accomplish quite a lot of things and I learned that composure is important because I miss 2 glorious opportunity to score 2 goals for my team. I should calm down next time, try to control the ball before taking a shot because I was too in a rush to get hold of the ball, and just trying to whack it into the goal.

    7. Do you think the team did well today?
To say the truth almost everyone was looking like they were going to die or throw up anytime except me. Not to flatter myself or anything but that is the truth. We lost confidence in every department after the first few goals, and the defence was simply torrid to be honest. Not saying I am good or anything but seriously the fullbacks could not stop crosses and the center backs were allowing the defenders to turn and shoot and were letting through balls pass like they were butter on a frying pan. People like Gregory was also moving into defence even though I told him like 10 times to stay in the attacking half and not care if Matthias was defending or not.

    8. How can you help the team to improve?
I could have defended more when I switched to center midfield.

    9. What do you think the team can do as a team to improve?
We should really communicate more. However, this match was played horribly because really everyone was really tired. It was really clear that everyone isn't that bad as what happen today. I also believe that the next match we wouldn't feel be so tired and everyone would play like how we normally play.

    10. Who do you think is the man of the match today?
Not to flatter myself but I think it was me.

    11. Explain your answer in 10
I was the only one that ran like literally for the entire match and ran back and forth to get the ball whenever the opponent score and not losing confidence in the process. I also once again, was the only fella that gave encouragement.

    1. No you weren't the only one giving encouragement. Do not make yourself sound so good. Learn from your mistakes please. A handball and your rating is 9?

  9. 1. Rate your performance today from 1 to 10.
    I will rate myself 2.

    2. Explain your rating.
I only played in the last 20 minutes. Although I kept running around in an attempt to press the opponents, I felt that I was at fault for two goals defensively.

    3. What did you think you do well today?
I contributed by closing down defenders, so as to force them to make errors which might allow us to start a counter-attack.

    4. Do you think you have applied what you have learned in training?
I cannot remember doing passing, control and defending from corners, so I cannot assume that I have applied what I learnt in training (even if I did)

    5. What do you think should be improved?
We should improve on our fitness, something which can forgiven due to OBS camp, as well as our clearances. It was our poor clearances which presented Juying with the opportunity to take shots at our goal.

    6. What lesson did you learn today?
It is important to clear the ball away from danger, as poor clearances will harm the team rather than help everyone.

    7. Do you think the team did well today?
Since it was a 20-0 defeat, it cannot say that it was a good, if not satisfactory performance.

    8. How can you help the team to improve?
I can close down the opponents quicker, especially when they are in the penalty box. I can also discipline myself not to commit so early, and also not to stay to close to the opponent lest they fool me with twists or turns.

    9. What do you think the team can do as a team to improve?
We can practice pressing and focus more on defending, so that we can improve as a team and prevent being thrashed in this fashion again.

    10. Who do you think is the man of the match today?
I think it will be ODS and Elgin Low.

    11. Explain your answer in 10
ODS made a number of interceptions and tackles to stop the Juying attackers from taking more shots at our goal, while Elgin Low stopped the opponents from going through down the right flank after I was beaten hands down.

    9. What do you think the team can do as a team to improve?

We could have different cheers to raise moral and such.

    10. Who do you think is the man of the match today?

    I guess Elgin Patt.

    11. Explain your answer in 10

He is one fellow that does not feel anything despite the score difference

    2. Explain your rating
I was extremely tired and didn't feel well. I also didn't even put in 50% of my commitment to play.

    3. What did you think you do well today?
I didn't do well in anything.

    4. Do you think you have applied what you have learned in training?
    No

    5. What do you think should be improved?
I think that our defense has to be improved in order to prevent the opponents from attacking us so easily.

    6. What lesson did you learn today?
I learnt that the mentality of the team is extremely important.

    7. Do you think the team did well today?
    No.

    8. How can you help the team to improve?
I think I can help by doing some defensive shift drills with the defenders.

    10. Who do you think is the man of the match today?
    Wen Kai

    11. Explain your answer in 10
He constantly worked hard for the ball and he also pointed out mistakes that the team made during and even after the match so as to help us improve ourselves.

  12. 1) 5

2)I was tired. However i tried my best to run and help out defending too!

3)I used my head quite a bit too to try and clear the ball away.

4)Some of them.Mostly the defending part.

5)My ablility to jump and head the ball, for both attacking and defending.

    6)Fitness and Level of energy

    7)Worser than expected

8)I dont think i can help in this aspect but I would just like to say that our team is lacking of a creative central midfielder.Teams in other schools usually have these types of ploayers and thats what we are lacking of.Hence our passing play only works on the flanks, seldom in the central.

    9)Keeping up our fitness level.

    10)Wen kai

    11)He encouraged everyone.

    3. Defending
    4. I ran into space when Jia Le pumped he ball into the place.
    6. We should not give up whatever the score is.
    7. No
    8. I should have encouraged them more.
    9. We should all have defended harder.
    10. Jia Le
    11. He tried very hard to save every match and he did not give up.

    2. Explain your rating
For the short time i was allowed to play, i was out of position most of the time as I was not used to play midfielder.
    3. What did you think you do well today?
I tried by best to adjust to the situation and give my best efforts.
    4. Do you think you have applied what you have learned in training?
Some techniques yes, however I know that there were some techniques i have learnt but forgot to put them into play.
    5. What do you think should be improved?
We must improve our fitness significantly, and we should improve on our defense.
    6. What lesson did you learn today?
Today, we must have the "never-say-die" attitude as we were down by a horrible scoreline, but we could not give up and must play till the bitter end.
    7. Do you think the team did well today?
    No.
    8. How can you help the team to improve?
I should learn to be more versatile in being able to play almost all roles in a soccer team.
    9. What do you think the team can do as a team to improve?
We should not only learn to improve our physical fitness, but also our mental strength too.
    10. Who do you think is the man of the match today?
    Jia le
    11. Explain your answer in 10
Even when everyone was going to give up, he did not give up hope. When others saw him, they in turn did not give up hope too.

    2. Even though we were all tired from OBS, I was running around and was giving it my best. I was actually pissed during the match due to some comments but instead of taking it negatively I decided to prove them wrong.
    3. Defended and blocked many shots. I also tried to hold on till half-time even though my foots was hurting and I actually sprained my ankle.
    4. No. We were all braindead from OBS and not playing properly.
    5. Even though we are tired, we should not be standing around and waiting for them to attack but instead push up and keep fighting.
    6. Encouragement really improves performance.
    7. The team was only a team in the second half where everyone was encouraging each other, fighting for each other and not giving up despite the score.
    8. Help some weaker people to build up physical strength as they are beaten easily by the opponent.
    9. Instead of scolding each other, we should encourage each other. Bringing our morale up, it will be easier to keep fighting.
10,11. There isn't a man of the match but Darius and Jia Le showed commendable behaviour during the second half, being the captain and vice-captain, they encourage everyone in the team to push on and the second half was played much better than the first.

    2. Despite the fatigue experienced during OBS, I continued to push myself.

    3. Being a first, I attempted to compact on the defense.

    4. I covered teammates when defending and try to practice the "one to one only" defending.

    5. My stamina and ability to read the game in order to prevent wasting my energy running up and down the field.

    6. Always support the defense, attack and defense should move together as one to be effective.

    7. The team did rather well considering the fatigue caused by OBS, however I think the team can still improve and learn how to compact in the defense.

    8. I should call and communicate when I need support or direct players who are in 'shock' when they receive the ball.

    9. The team should communicate more when it comes to attacking and defense, move as one.

    10. Jia Le

    11. He did not give up and tried to keep the spirits up by shouting encouraging words during the game, despite conceding numerous goals.
