i.e. I would rate myself a 1. I today showed many( maybe all?) my weakness in the game. Headers, challenging the opponent etc.
    What I do well today?
Honestly speaking, I have done nothing well today.
    What could have been better?
First and for most, I was a little nervous as it was my first formal game. Next, my headers. I am kinda tall for a sec one( XD) so thats why I should be winning the headers of the opponent that were shorter than me.Thus I am very disappointed in myself. Thirdly,I did not show too much agression against the opponent which let to 2 of the goals( I remembered correctly.)
Did I apply what I have learned in training?
Nope, come to think of it, not even a firm pass.
    2. What did you learn as a player/spectator from the match today?
I learnt not to show my fear during the game as it will affect the match.
    3. Do you think the team did well today?
Not at all. First, not firm passing. Second, no communication.Third,Fitness really affected the game.
    4. How can you help the team to improve?
Encourage them to push themselves even if they are really tired.
    5. What do you think the team can do together to improve?
Train our fitness level, learn to pass firmly and lastly communicate more.
    6. Who do you think is the man of the match today and justify your selection
According to me, there wasn't any man of the match. No one performed outstanding and both the attack and the defense were very messy and no communication.

  2. 1) I would give Myself a 2. This is because I feel that I performed my role as a CBM very badly. In my opinion , I did not really do anything well . Once again , my positioning could be much better and I did not run back to defend when the opponents had won the ball. Plus I did not stick closely to the opponents striker or midfielder , thus allowing them to make crosses , which resulted in them scoring .Not to forget that I had really little stamina , which resulted in my slow reaction . I don't recall anything being taught during the training concerning the midfielder since I was absent from most of the training sessions.

2)I learned that as a midfielder, I need to run back to support the defense when the opponents gets the ball . I have also learned that I need not be afraid of the opponents regardless of their size , I just need to tackle them with aggression .

3)I think the team did not perform to their full potential.

4)I am not really sure what I can do to improve the whole team , so I think that I still need to improve so that I can help out the team more

5)We need to practice more together to strengthen our teamwork and gain more experience. We also need to do some physical training to improve on our physical abilities.

6)I think that no one should be the man of the match this time as we all could have done much better.

  3. 1. Rate your performance today from 1 to 10 and justify your rating

    Rating: 3/10
    Strengths:
…• More alert (as compared to previous matches)
…• Kept in mind proper defending technique taught
……◦ Going towards the player; then back paddle, watch the ball
…• Used upper body control (e.g. chest, shoulder)
    Weaknesses:
…• Touch on ball was not steady
……◦ Resulted in lost of ball to opponents upon a pass from goal twice
……◦ Resulted in opponents scoring after my weak pass to Ryan due to the
……ball going too far away from my foot (and pressure by opponent)
……◦ Resulted in the ball going towards the centre twice due to wrong
    ……direction in first touch
……◦ Small touches require training; ∵ Ball was going too fast to apply
    ……what have been learnt
    …• Clearing technique was soft
……◦ Ankle needs to be locked
    ……◦ Technique requires further improvement
    ……◦ Play must be trained not to be affected by the opponent's pressure;
    ……but instead, adapt
…• Control can be improved (e.g. Heading; controls during throw-ins
    …etc.)
    …• Making calls
……◦ Calls for help in defense (there were situations where there were
……two players unmarked, surrounding players did not know)
……◦ Calls for help in support (there was one situation as a midfield
……where I managed to dribble to the centre but was surrounded by many
    ……opponent players)
    Application in Training:
…• Defending technique: ✓ (Can be further improved)
…• Triangular formation: ✗ (Requires further drills to familiarise)
…• Dribbling Drills: ✗ (Ball was not controlled at accurate pace; moving
    …too fast to apply)
    …• Simple warm-up Drills (e.g. shoulder bump): ✗

    2. What did you learn as a player/spectator from the match today?

✎ In order to play well, simple movements and footwork must be internalised
✎ Silly mistakes (e.g. not facing the ball during goal kicks) should not be committed
✎ At any one time, there must be sufficient players to support/mark opponent players.
✎ As a defender, I further understood the importance of not overcommitting, thereby conceding the space behind. There must be further self-training to ensure the ability to go for the ball at the right time.
✎ Marked players should always be watched closely (Stick to the player 'like a leech').
✎ During a challenge for the ball, there must be shifting to ensure covering.
✎ Opponent players with opportunities to shoot must be challenged.
✎ Headers by opponents can be prevented by jumping together with the opponent, and if possible, leaning such that the opponent does not get the ball.

    3. Do you think the team did well today?

    ✎ No
✎ Constructive succession of passes were rarely evident.
✎ Movement to open space during passes/goal kicks was lacking
✎ Proper communication was insufficient in helping players make their decisions.

    4. How can you help the team to improve?

✎ Play my part in being a good team member
✎ Encorage positive bonds and relationships between team members (good team players 'die for one another' during the match)
✎ Encourage players when they play
✎ Encourage players in having good behavioral attitudes in school (to avoid situations where good players cannot play because of conduct in school)
✎ Help weaker players learn by pointing out their mistakes

    5. What do you think the team can do together to improve?

✎ Organise training sessions to train on fitness, footwork, movement of team etc. together.
✎ Build trust within one another.
✎ Share their knowledge within the team to help improve the team.

    6. Who do you think is the man of the match today and justify your selection

✎ Man of the match: N.A. (∵ There was no one who played to what they could have achieved, based on previous matches)

  4. 2. What did you learn as a player/spectator from the match today?
I learnt that, as a spectator, we should communicate more with our team mates, so that nobody would be confused on who to mark, who to go for the challenge etc.

    3. Do you think the team did well today?
I think the team that not do well today, as the whole team lack communication.

    4. How can you help the team to improve?
Inform any players if there is any open man, so that they could go and mark them.

    5. What do you think the team can do together to improve?
The team can communicate more with each other.

    6. Who do you think is the man of the match today and justify your selection
I think that no one should be the man of the match as no one performed up to standard.

  5. 1) I would rate myself 3.3 for the first half and 4.3 for the second. I completely lost my touch. It was quite evident as every time I received the ball, my first touch will let me down. Also, my decision making when I'm on the ball wasn't very good either. I lost the ball a couple of times and one of them led to a goal. When playing as a keeper, I let in 5 soft goals in which I could have saved if I stretched a little further. I wasn't confident with crosses and punched most weak shots instead of handling them. I felt that my handling with grounders improved as I've learnt to get behind the ball before planting my foot down.

    2) I've learnt that we have to impart our experience to the sec ones as we're making very fundamental mistakes. Simple mistakes such as not closing down a player who is ready to shoot from outside the box, covering for crosses and compacting+shifting as a whole. Coach even pointed out that some of us weren't facing the ball during goal kicks.

    3) If there was a phrase to describe it, it would be terribly horrible. From what I can see, most seniors were not in top form (mainly from trips but that is definitely not an excuse) and sec ones were inexperienced. None of us wanted to fight for one another, in contrast with PSB.

    4) We need to beef up during the next semester. Darius and I can hold some physical training sessions during the weekends (extreme cases already).

    5) As a team, we desperately need to work on our control. Obviously there's lots of things to work on, but control is essential when you get the ball.

    6) Honestly, I cannot single out anyone who played to HALF their ability, not even myself. How do you expect me to have a MOTM?

    1. I didn't do much that day. I thought it would be easier, however, I guess my confidence and experience has been taking the toll on my plays. I thought that we could have been more prepared. I was mentally challenged due to the change of the plays of two different coach and was stuck there. I was hesitating most of the time.
I didn't get to mark them as they were too fast, however, i doubt i have tried my best anyway. I think more strategies and practice can be useful in the match. I think we can a more organized defense and increased communication.
There will be no MOTM due to the effort in was not great from each player.

  7. 1) I would rate myself 1.5. I did not do very well, I made mistakes I could not afford and I made simple mistakes that let the opponent score. I can't judge myself that well as I only played for 5 minutes so that was all.

    2) I learned as a spectator and a player that everyone need to communicate more and work better together. We were also behind physically and in techniques, headers, control, etc...

    3) We did not good, I am also not proud of my own performance. We should learn how play better, improve on our technique. We should also learn to play for the team instead for ourselves.

4)We need to train harder so even if we lose we will still be proud because we know we worked hard. We also need to practice more often and gain more experience.

    5) We can work on control, we don't need
skills, we need technique. We also need to learn to play under pressure. I know some of us, myself included, just don;t know what to do when challenging an opponent.

    6) I can't think of a man of the match.

  8. 2. I wasn't confident and aggressive enough in my tackles. Maybe because I have been playing attacking in 2 sides this few days or maybe because I do not trust my junior teammates in covering me. While marking the post during a corner, I also failed to save a shot, something which is totally not of my standard. I used to be able to do goal line clearances, yet, i'm not confident at all.

I think that it is quite evident during the match that our fitness sucks. People not covering when we lose possession and that is all because of fitness, when you are tired, you do not feel like coming back, goodbye, we leave the centre open. I think the importance of what the sec3s have that the juniors don't have, experience. Maybe explain to them in a defending situation how to cover, and let them practice. Doing those 2v2 or 3v3 situations have really helped

We obviously didn't do well. I understand that some people were not played at their favourable position, but at least effort was put in to adapt, just not enough. Furthermore, lots of goals were let in due to crosses, when the ball was at the flanks and the wing backs are trying to win the ball, it is important for the centre backs and centre defending mid to watch any man that is already in the penalty box or moving towards it.

I think encouragement is very important. Even if we shout a thousand times, it will not help, encourage them, motivate them and inspire them to continue playing. We do not quit even if we are beaten a 100 times, we continue playing, strive to improve for the love of the sport

I think lots of playing time together is really important. But first we have to work on our fitness. Working together on fitness as a team, we'll naturally help each other as a team. In times of toughness, sticking together, is what differentiates us from the rest.

The way we played, no one

  9. 1. I will rate myself a 3. I did not do anything to help me team in this game. I think i did well running down the wing once or twice. I think i can improve on my ball control and speed. No I do not think I applied what I learned in training.

    2. I learned that our team is very our of shape and we have no co-ordination and our communication is very poor, hence that is why we lost so badly as our opponents took advantage of these things and broke us down, and we also do not respect ourselves and think that we are going to lose.

    3. I do not think the team did well today as if we did the scoreline would not be that bad. I feel that we could have done much better,in terms of fitness, ball play and simple ball control, but even these simple things, we are failing to accomplish with ease, but I think we are also inexperienced in my views.

    4. I can help the team improve by first making myself improve. If I do not improve, i will not be able to help my teammates in the first place so i feel that to help my team improve i should first improve on my fitness and skills.

    5. I think the team can be more serious during training and also be disciplined to train out of training and practice their skills during their free time. Thats is one of the best ways the team can improve together.

    6. With todays performance, I do not think anyone deserves the man of the match.

3.I did not do well today because i did not defend the ball properly i did not have enough stamina to last the whole game as i did not train in my free time.I think i should have trained more under my own time. I honestly applied the things about looking out for the defenders and asking people to cover me during defense.

What did you learn as a player/spectator from the match today?

I learnt that attacking is really the best defense as the other team did not really have to care about their defense when they just kept attacking and winning the ball. Being strong and hard in our tackles are also very important to win possession.

Do you think the team did well today?

Yes in some ways and no. Yes when they did their best on keeping the spirit and trying to defend even though the score was high but they did not defend well enough as they were still not looking out for the running persons from the back. Those led to many goals as the balls are crossed to the back and they are totally free.

How can you help the team to improve?
I think i can remind the players of which player is running and which player to cover as i have a loud voice to get the message through to the players so that they would better watch the players.

What do you think the team can do together to improve?
I think the team can form the triangle formation whenever they have the possession as everytime the defenders get the ball, they do not have options to pass to and be quickly closed down be the attackers of the opponent team.

Who do you think is the man of the match today and justify your selection
I don’t think there is a MOTM as people like me did not put in their hundred percent into guarding their positions.

I rate myself a 4, i could be much more agressive to block the player, but i did give my all and defended some balls from entering the penalty box. I also have to be more on my feet.
    2. What did you learn as a player/spectator from the match today?
As a player, i think we need to be more agressive. We also need to be more anticipative to their actions and be able to hold on and defend our goal area. Many goals were shot from outside the box that went in. The closing in on the players were not as good.
    3. Do you think the team did well today?
No i did not. We still didnt go after the opponent with the ball, instead we gave him ample of space to shoot and score. The balls actually went in the goals.
    4. How can you help the team to improve?
I reckon we need to concentrate more and give our best in the game so as to prevent the opponent from scoring . The team has to be on their toes, has to commit ourselves in defending our side.
    5. What do you think the team can do together to improve?
I think we all need to have the commitment to really put in our 101% into the matches. To do pass what we are able to do to improve ourselves and ultimately fight for our first win.
    6. Who do you think is the man of the match today and justify your selection
I reckon ODS did pretty good job on keeping up the defense by keeping on the tail of the attackers.
