  1. 1. Rate your performance today from 1 to 10
    10

    2. Explain your rating
I may not have played, but it was important that i showed up. I gave encouragement and calling players to alert them of open opposition players.

    3. What did you think you do well today?
Encouraging, shouting for the team to cover...

    4. What do you think should be improved?
For one thing, our weaknesses is our lack of confidence and our fitness. In this game, we could actually hold the ball well, we were just nervous when the opponents pressured us.

    5. What lesson did you learn today?
Though i didn't really play, i can tell that fitness is very important.

6.How can you help the team to improve?
For one, we really need to improve our fitness, getting together as a team, once a week can really mean so much in the long run.

    7. What do you think the team can do as a team to improve?
What we can do, is just possession, but possession in small areas. There's no need to think about how we can attack, if we don't have possession.

    8. Who do you think is the man of the match today?
    Elgin Patt

    9. Explain your answer in 8
Although he was out of position at times, and wasn't confident with the ball, you can tell that he was trying his very best.

    2. Explain your rating
I feel that even though I have been able to thoroughly analyse the opponent team while I was off the field, I had made some decisions during the match that were really very bad.

    3. What did you think you do well today?
I think I did well in identifying the dangerous players on the opponent team and then using that knowledge to help our team.

    4. What do you think should be improved?
I think that our ball control can be improved as there were many balls that were let through the defense just because some defenders didn't control the ball properly.

    5. What lesson did you learn today?
I learnt that communication is extremely important in the team as without it, the defense cannot work effectively to defend against the opponent attack.

6.How can you help the team to improve?
For one, we really need to improve our fitness, getting together as a team, once a week can really mean so much in the long run.

    7. What do you think the team can do as a team to improve?
I think that the team can try to do more passing and defensive drills as I feel that our defense, even though improved, can still be further improved in areas such as marking and shifting.

    8. Who do you think is the man of the match today?
    Ding Shan

    9. Explain your answer in 8
ODS would always close down the attacker and force him away from the goal and towards the side. Even when he lost the ball, he would immediately get up and try to win the ball back. I think that he is a very good role model for all our defenders to learn from.

    2. Explain your rating

I felt okay during the first half. Then something was amiss at the 2nd half. I felt useless, and such. Perhaps I did fend off a few people, but that did not mean we accomplished different instructions by the coach.

    3. What did you think you do well today?

I think I helped support during the first half and shouted main directions during the first half.

    4. What do you think should be improved?

    Fitness, control and teamwork.

    5. What lesson did you learn today?

Its hard to read an opponent's mind. I was tricked by them quite a few.

6.How can you help the team to improve?

I can continue with what I did previously. (shouting to make a good moral for the team)

    7. What do you think the team can do as a team to improve?

I suggest a few (shouts) to keep the team going. It raises moral to an extent unimaginable.

    8. Who do you think is the man of the match today?

    Niklaus probably.

    9. Explain your answer in 8

He tried his best to keep the defenders together.

  4. 1. Rate your performance today from 1 to 10
    I will rate myself 0.5.

    2. Explain your rating
I feel that I did not make much of a contribution to the team today, and that I did not perform up to standards in the time when I was on the pitch.

    3. What did you think you do well today?
I could only remember preventing a midfielder (no. 6) from taking a shot. Other than that, I cannot remember doing other things that are worthy of being mentioned.

    4. What do you think should be improved?
I can improve on my fitness levels as exhaustion started to creep in near the forty minute mark. I should also improve on my passing and control, especially under pressure, as I cannot seem to demonstrate what I have learnt on the pitch today.

Moreover, I also think that I should attack the ball instead of just waiting for it to come to me, so that possession will not be lost unnecessarily.

    5. What lesson did you learn today?
It is more important to be disciplined, and that we have to perform collectively rather than individually. It is also important to have a better fitness, as well as a better positional sense.

6.How can you help the team to improve?
I can improve on keeping possession under pressure, so as to allow the team to start attacks against our opponents.

    7. What do you think the team can do as a team to improve?
We can encourage each other to fight even harder and give all our commitment, so that it will motivate us to endeavor to excel.

    8. Who do you think is the man of the match today?
    ODS.

    9. Explain your answer in 8.
He covered a lot of ground to dispossess the opponents when they have the ball. He also helped out when the left flank is being outnumbered, and he continued to make well-timed recovery tackles despite being beaten at times.

  5. 1.I rate myself 1
2.I did not play in the match and thus proved that i was not worthy of being in the field.
3.I did not really do anything in the field and thus only became a waterboy
4.I think fitness levels and also confidence levels could be improved along with some skil
5.I learnt that fitness and discipline are more important than most think while in a sports CCA and even more on soccer.
6.I can improve by marking key players in the field and slow them down so that other people can play better with key opponents handicapped.
7.We can improve fitness and confidence levels so that all of us can handle the ball without doubt
    8.ODS
9.He covered many people when they were not in their corrected people and still went head-on even though he was challenged by multiple people

During the second half of the match, it was pretty much a disaster combined with the bad judgment of mine that caused the goals to be conceded.
    3. What did you think you do well today?
First half was alright, but second half was definitely below what i should be playing.
    4. What do you think should be improved?
Definitely my stamina and also my alertness to spot loopholes that could cause goals to be concede.
    5. What lesson did you learn today?
I learnt to be alert and focused even when i am tired.
6.How can you help the team to improve?
I can help to encourage my teammates to push forward and play the game well
    7. What do you think the team can do as a team to improve?
The team can defintely get a boast in stamina and also encouragement of each other.
    8. Who do you think is the man of the match today?
I think it would be Darius
    9. Explain your answer in 8
He did his best and was consistently alert onto incoming balls

  7. 1. Rate your performance today from 1 to 10
    8

    2. Explain your rating
I think I did pretty well in keeping a clean sheet for the first half and saving a number of shots even though I wasn't very confident. I should have run more in the 2nd half.

    3. What did you think you do well today?
I managed to try to take some goal kicks and tried to encourage my teammates even when I am tired. My positioning as a goalkeeper also improved and I managed to save a number of shots, especially low ones which I felt I did pretty good in :)

    4. What do you think should be improved?
I should improve my goal kicks and my drop kicks because I am not used to the ball at all which resulted me in kicking the balls towards the wrong direction and towards to opponent. I only managed to do a pretty good drop kick once which went all the way back to the opponent's goalkeeper, so I definitely have to improve on my adaptation and my accuracy.

    5. What lesson did you learn today?
I learn that by closing down and not giving them space to shoot and cross, it will force them to be frustrated and result in them taking long shots which they are, to be honest, not very good at. I also learn that fitness and stamina is extremely important because the match duration is now 40 mins instead of 30.

6.How can you help the team to improve?
I tried my best but I could have tried to be more agressive because even though I managed to resist the defenders, the midfielders are just too strong to wrestle pass. For me I think that the most important thing I can do is to be more fit and agressive.

    7. What do you think the team can do as a team to improve?
We have to communicate more and have to encourage each other because I see practically none of this on the pitch today. We can also try moving into space and not over-committing and follow/press instead of committing.

8 and 9. Who do you think is the man of the match today?
I think the man of the match is nobody because I feel that everybody must give it all towards the closing stages because all we have to do is work hard for the last 5 minutes and maybe we could even get a goal back. We must also be more disciplined in switching from defense to attack.

I was very indecisive, was very lost in the first few minutes I went in, was super unfit, after the frist sprint i made I was panting heavily already.
    3. What did you think you do well today?
I tried my 100% best. But nevoursness and stress got the btr of me.
    4. What do you think should be improved?
I need to prepare myself mentally earlier and be more decisive.
    5. What lesson did you learn today?
Decisiveness is key, always be on the lookout.
6.How can you help the team to improve?
Communicate with each other, help to look out for each other.
    7. What do you think the team can do as a team to improve?
Communication, we need to help to look out for one another.
    8. Who do you think is the man of the match today?
    Niklaus and ODS.
    9. Explain your answer in 8
They intercepted the ball most of the times. they were definitely putting in >100% effort. ODS immediately executed recovery tackle when he loses the ball, he was even fighting for the ball when he was down. Niklaus was constantly keeping the defence together, and trying to start the communicating chain.

    2. Explain your rating
The first part as a striker was okay but was out of stamina when I had to switch from a striker to the midfield and thus I was not good enough.
    3. What did you think you do well today?
I put in much effort in striking and calling the midfielders to their positions.
    4. What do you think should be improved?
Stamina and ability to be more focused in the game.
    5. What lesson did you learn today?
A match over a long period of time is very tiring.
6.How can you help the team to improve?
Train to keep a positive mentality in the game.
    7. What do you think the team can do as a team to improve?
We should carry out longer matches during training to train our stamina and prepare us for the actual games.
    8. Who do you think is the man of the match today?
    Ods/Jia le
    9. Explain your answer in 8
Overall, the most energetic players throughout the match.

Although I was not perfect today, and still had some flaws, out of postition etc, I was putting in my 100% and best effort to keep the team's morale up.
    3. What did you think you do well today?
I communicated with the other players reasonably well during the match and make suer i put in effort.

    4. What do you think should be improved?
The confidence with the ball, and the tactics for clearing the ball

    5. What lesson did you learn today?
I learnt that once again, communication is key as it forms the basis for the other skills we have learnt

6.How can you help the team to improve?
I could focus on my awareness of position and be confident in holding the ball

    7. What do you think the team can do as a team to improve?
We need to focus on the transition between defence and midfield.

    8. Who do you think is the man of the match today?
    MOTM would be Darius

    9. Explain your answer in 8
He managed to help support the defence and always was there to support

  12. Here are Darius' reflections for the match:

    1. Rate your performance today from 1 to 10

    I rate myself a 4
    2. Explain your rating

I feel that I've done well at the start of the first half, until about the last 10mins of the half or so. Afterwards I've become very tired and have not given my best. I've tried to run more, stay on my toes, but my fitness has to be improved.
    3. What did you think you do well today?

I think I've done well in terms of communication. I make sure people are not out of position and also provide encouragement. I also feel that I've provided good support to my other defenders.

    4. What do you think should be improved?

For me, I have to work on my fitness, make sure I have enough stamina to at least last 75 minutes of the entire game. Also, my awareness can be improved. My tackling wasn't really the best during the game, my man constantly beat me quite easily and could sometimes take shots.

    5. What lesson did you learn today?

I've learnt that fitness and faith are very important things as individuals. Without these things, we won't be confident in the game, not play as well as we should be.
6.How can you help the team to improve?

As captain I can plan weekly fitness training sessions, maybe join cross country on wednesdays (MAYBE) or plan our own runs. I can also give better team talks to boost morale and give confidence.

    7. What do you think the team can do as a team to improve?

As a team, we've improved a lot throughout our games. But we still have a lot to work on in terms of keeping possession, being confident with the ball. Also, after "mastering" our defensive tactics, we must start to learn offensive tactics, defensively during the game, we did okay, but when we attacked it was honestly quite bad.

    8. Who do you think is the man of the match today?

To me I can tell that everyone have given their all, but not all have reached their full potential, Ming En, Eugene, Wei Hong and some others can do much better than in the game. But if I were to pick an MOTM, it would be Jia Le.
    9. Explain your answer in 8

I believe he is relatively unfamiliar at left-back, compared to Bernard and Bryan. But he has adapted well and have played well, both defensively and offensively, as LB. He is committed to the tackle and also pushed himself to the limit in the second half.

    Captain, Darius

    2. I did not really pushed myself and kept conserving energy for counter-attacks, which there were hardly any.

    3. I marked the player which was near the flank and considered dangerous, I also covered for the defenders when they were pressuring the opponent.

    4. I should be pushing myself more and try to better manage my energy, knowing when to charge forward and when to back down.

    5. Never let your guard down, expect the unexpected.

    6. Be more observant, support when required or needed.

    7. The team should learn to play 'harder', from what i noticed from this match, the team are not up to their standards and not giving their 100%, less determined than before. Hence, affect the overall ability and potential.

    8. Elgin Patt and ODS

    9. Both of them are most probably a little 'out of sync' when the match started, however despite their mistakes, they tried their best to improve on and amend their wrongs. Everyone should be as determined as they are.

    -NA-

    2. Explain your rating
Did not get to play on the pitch.

    3. What did you think you do well today?
I did not play in the match.

    4. What do you think should be improved?
I think that we did much better than most matches that we all have played before. Some problems we should correct is to remember to play on our side and not shift too much so as to prevent leaving big gaps in our defense that our enemies can exploit. We should also improve communications in between players as it can prevent clashes between our players and to make sure our players are doing what they are supposed to. We must also improve our fitness to last at least 70 minutes of the game.

    5. What lesson did you learn today?
Fitness is very important in soccer. So is believing in our ability and having the never-say-die attitude. I think that these are the qualities than allowed us to play as we did on wednesday.

6.How can you help the team to improve?
I must increase my fitness to allow me to last the whole match. I must also train mentally to gain the never say die attitude to never give up on a game, even if we are losing badly. If we believe in ourselves, I am sure we can do it. I must also learn how to play my role as a left back better to be a useful player.

    7. What do you think the team can do as a team to improve?
We should organize weekly jogs around the school area, for example the canal, so as to increase our stamina to make us last longer in a game. We should also learn how to play our roles in a team better.

    8. Who do you think is the man of the match today?
    Without a doubt Jia Le.

    9. Explain your answer in 8
Jia le was obviously not used to playing as left back. However he managed to handle it with ease and perform extremely well, defensively and offensively. He was also one of the players would we could tell was giving at least a 100% in the game.

  15. 1) I would rate myself 6.8.

    2) I've put in my best, pushed myself to the limit but never really satisfied with my performance.

    3) I was able to communicate more effectively with the defenders and pushed forward whenever possible. My judgement helped me overcome my lack of fitness towards the end of each half.

    4) Without a doubt, basic fitness levels. We should definitely work on our set pieces, both defensively and offensively.

    5) Being a Left Back is darn difficult. Covering, marking, playmaking, dribbling etc.

    6) Facilitating physical training in preparation for next year's competition.

    7) We need to be focused and put in our all during training. If you can't last 15 mins during training, what makes you think you can last 40 mins during the match?

    8) I can tell that most of us put in our utmost best to help the team. If I were to specify, it would be ODS, Darius and Niklaus.

    9) These 3 players were the backbone of defence. Also, if I were out of position or something else, they would be the ones reminding and encouraging.

    2. Explain your rating

I had really bad stamina and started walking after 30 mins in the game.

    3. What did you think you do well today?

Iv chased the balls that i lost

    4. What do you think should be improved?

    The weight on our passes.

    5. What lesson did you learn today?

Train harder on stamina as stamina is very important in the game for chasing and possession.

6.How can you help the team to improve?

I can receive more balls and help regain possession of our team.

    7. What do you think the team can do as a team to improve?

    The strength of our passes.

    8. Who do you think is the man of the match today?

    Ong Ding Shan

    2. Was very confused about position. Not accustomed to playing right mid, so always ended up in the middle area.
    3. I think for a midfield, I managed to keep up with the shifts quite well.
    4. More communication amongst the midfield line.
    5. Players constantly need to support the person IN FRONT of him in order to keep the opponents from advancing.
    6. The team can use help with focusing on a single goal/target, as by observation, people usually work better at something when they set their minds on it.
    7. We have to improve on our fitness. Usually, there is an increase in goals scored against us in the second half because we are unable to perform.
    8. The MOTM will be Ding Shan.
    9. He has successfully managed to halt opponents' advances multiple times.
